Goats and Heat...ideas?

We've been misting the yard and cooling the babies with cool soaked bath towels.
Everyone has plenty of cool water and shade.
There's a fan in the barn already, but I'm getting another.
I've got electrolytes in their water, and some tubs have ACV in them.

My babies are panting up a storm. It's just sooooo humid-y HOT outside.

Any other suggestions?

Well, I don't know if this would work for your big goats but it might help with the babies. It's what a friend told me to do for our rabbits. Freeze 2 liter bottles of water and lay them where the animal usually lays to nap, rest, etc. They'll snuggle up on it and keep cool(er).

We've never had this happen with our goats, even though it gets pretty hot and humid here in KY.

I found this link

Hope that helps!
