In our area we've been blessed with the lack of severe storms. Oxford and New Albany, the town of Enterprise...they are all an hour or so from us and have suffered a great deal of damage. The Hwy 30 corridor over near us seems to be quite the alley-way for tornadoes.
Here where we are, the mountain that separates our county from the next seems to buffet us from a great deal of severe storms. They almost 'trip' over the mountain and then finger out in a spread that avoids us with the brunt of it all.
That's not to say I don't need a storm cellar. It's been 5 years. There's no reason aside from poor planning and laziness. We need to change that.
Either way, our hearts and prayers are with those suffering from the tornado damage in and around Yazoo City MS. And all the other areas in the paths of these storms today.

I had just mentioned to my husband that I was wondering where you were and if you were ok. I did pray for you off and on since yesterday. Thanks for the update!
Blessings,
Lindas
Hope you are safe from the tornado's, heard on the radio about them this morning and that 2 people had died.
Your dogs are so cute, but they are indeed very knowing animals...
Take care,
Tania
Deanna,
Though your post is from the afternoon, we had heard reports of a tornado in Baldwin around Noon and have been concerned about you and your family. Leigh-Ann is wanting to go to First Monday sometime in the next couple of months. Our kids would like to get with yours in Ripley if possible. Let us know what you think.
Mark
