I'm just sitting here thinking HUH? I mean, honestly, what the gosh dang dingy COULD you be doing hearing that. The Nobel Peace Prize??? Seriously??
I guess I'm just not up to snuff on the delicacies of Nobel Prize stuff.
President Obama??? On "future hope" gets the prize???
I think I deserve the Prize as well. For raising 9 children. For stocking my pantry (against that presidential future hope garbage). For just living in this country and not going nuts.
:::• Posted October 9th, 2009 at 9.57am in American Leadership.
As fellow Americans we always take pride in the achievements and awards of our compatriots. Although we congratulate President Obama for winning the Nobel Peace Prize today, he should accept the award on behalf of the American people for all our many sacrifices to make the world a better place.
Everyone recognizes, however, that the Nobel Committee awarded the prize to President Obama on the basis of hope for the future rather than achievements of the past. The politicization of this award saddens us when dissident leaders in China, Zimbabwe, Cuba and other dictatorships are passed over despite substantial achievements and not just hope for things to come:::
Thank you for sharing this Liz.

Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls.

I think you should have the 2009 Noble Prize for Motherhood, and the 2010, the 2011, the . . . . . . . .
The "prize" has lost it's meaning, besides it's just a "prize" of man, a pide thing - not of God. We all could win "prizes" based on our good intentions!
Glad to see I'm not the only one with my chin on the ground...
In His Grace,

I will call the White House and tell them it was a mistake......you are the winner!! Any one with 9 kids gets it over.....????? Oh I forgot what he did to deserve it!!!!!
The sweet potato bread really looks yummy!!!!
No, no...there are moms out there who have way more children and do way more with their lives. I just couldn't accept...
I have decided they are right. Obama has done so much forward-thinking since taking office. He is leading us to the best of his ability. Someone thinks so...he was nominated to stand there with Nelson Mandela, Mother Teresa and so many others.
The best thing he could do is accept his prize with all that humility the news hounds are saying he has...
Andthen use his 'prize' winnings as a down-payment on paying off our debts in this, his country.
Of course, that means the whole European Union/One World Order/Anti Christ thing has to be on the back burner a little while longer...
Amen! I feel the same way, and I am glad to know there are others who feel the same as I do!! I posted my like wise opinion on face book and there were a few people who did not like it very much and tried to argue, oh well! I like the way you think!
