Plan of the Day

Bought 20 3/4in pork chops and a 10# giant roast at the butcher today. They are red marbled beauties, let me tell you. Well, thechops are more pink...but gorgeous just the same!

Plan C on the quilt project...yesterday's view was us pulling out don't-know-how-many-bobbins of stitches :o( Today we are going old school with it -- pinning it taut on some pricey grade A maple frames (remind me next week...they are a whole other post!). Then the marathon sewing of pretty little ties over the whole quilt to "quilt" it.

Chops and mac & cheese for dinner tonight. Cleaning, scrubbing and otherwise detailing the van and packing what we can today/tonight.

Tomorrow, last minute homestead stuff -- like making the list for Christopher on animals -- and cooking the roast. Then hit the road!
