Squeaky Clean Fun: A Soap Making Photo Tutorial | Keeper of the Home

I've made soap. Once. It was incredibly ugly. A neighbor snatched up every last scrappy-looking odd-shaped block of it and loved it.

I'm not nearly as naïve anymore and have since learned why it looked so weird and that it was not only normal, but common when using goats milk.

Live and learn.

Well, all I need is a new immersion blender and I'm going back into the soap business here!

Stweardship Not Convenience shared a great step by step tutorial on making hot process soap using a crockpot and armed with every other blog I've seen making their own soaps, I'm ready, willing and inspired again :o)

Enjoy and gain courage!!

I have heard about hot process soap but have not seen it done.
Interesting. I make cold process "raw" goat milk soap. I'm going to be in a farmers markhet this summer selling my soap.

Jeremiah 6:16
Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls.
