It also netted a wet carpet at the back of the van :o( They forgot the basket thing, and all I had in the van apparently was a tub...without a lid. They improvised, but still slopped an awful lot of fishy water into the carpet.
First job for the fishermen is to scrub scrub scrub
And pray the fishy scent leaves. We'll know soon enough, though. Know what fishy carpet will smell like with temps and humidity????!!

If soap and scrubbing doesn't get it, you might try X-O Neutralizer. Don Aslett sells it. Your vet might. Best I've found. Not a perfume. Bless your heart, I hope it doesn't get too hot too soon.
Probably a lot worse than pinto beans with high temps and humidity...and that was bad...real bad. This is when I can really, sincerely say, "Bless your heart!"
