Fabric Washing Day

These are my various remnants. Most will be made into bonnets, bibs, and maybe a couple for pinafores for the younger girls.

Looks like a lot, and I suppose it is, but most of these are maybe just a yard, though a few are 2 yards. I have an 8 yard fold off the end of these of a white on white cotton as well...slips and bloomers :o)

Now the fun begins...it all needs to be ironed!

I LOVE your BLOG so much thank for taking the time to share with the rest of us around the globe. If it wearnt for ladies like you some of this would die out. I have learned so much from you. I am 46yo mother of 7 and have fostered 14 or so more. We curently have 4 very young one and I want to make the baby a blanket for to keep for-ever and ever. They will be returning to their natural mother and well after a year it will be hard on us this time so I am make a love blankie with my smell to go with her.. Thanks for your help!
