NOT FOR GRANDMA TO SEE...

Ok, here's the quilt top, such as the photo is. Certainly nothing fancy in the world of quilt tips, but I think it will serve its intended purpose nicely.

Of course finishing the piecing of the rows together, I saw all sorts of mistakes -- most obvious for me was the THREE green blocks together :o(
Man, that will glare at me forever now.

I've read many times at how through the generations women would purposely quilt in a mistake as a sort of reminder that only God has True Perfection.

Yeah, well, thera's no fear of any mistake in that with my quilt. Hey -- seeing as I made my goof on accident, does that mean maybe I'm humble and just don't know it??

Ok. That was quite a stretch I suppose.

LOL. I have heard that too. But I LOVE this quilt! It is lovely. And when you pass it on, trust me...no one will care about any mistake. They will love it because YOU made it!

Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls.
