I will *not* debate the pros or cons of vaccinations, so save your breath and your fingers.
What I will say on the subject is YOU are the parent. They are not your doctor's or nurse's children, or your Aunt Sally's, or that well-meaning pro-vaccinating neighbor or friend...or even mine.
They are YOURS, and as a responsible parent, you should research out your own decisions before allowing others to blindly lead you along. A parent needs to be prepared to stand behind their decision, whatever it is, with the best understanding and knowledge they have at any given point in time.
If you choose to vaccinate, know WHY you do. Don't rest on the stand-by "my mom vaccinated me and I'm fine" or my doctor says the hoopla is all stuff and nonesense.". Do your own research and make your own decision based on what you have learned. Likewise if you choose not to vaccinate. Probably moreso if you choose the latter as the witch hunt usually follows you, and those doing the hunting are convinced you are a monster.
