I've already gifted off 4 pretty ones in sherbert sort of bright pastels. Here are some of the others so far.
And a pattern I'm using from the Big Book of Dishcloths I mentioned:
G hook (I prefer an H hook with the cotton)
1 skein Peaches & Cream or Sugar & Cream
Ch 43
ROW 1: (DC, ch 1 DC) in 5th ch from hook *skip next 2 ch, 3 DC in next ch, skip next 2 ch (DC, ch 1, DC) in next ch*
Repeat ** across to last 2 ch and skip 1 ch, DC in last chain
ROW 2: ch 3 (DC, ch 1, DC) in ch 1 space, 3 DC in middle of 3 DC on previous row...follow pattern across with V-stitch over V-stitch and 3 DC over 3 DC.
Repeat ROW 2 for desired length then add border/edge of choice around block. I did a simple HDC around most of my blocks, but you could SC, or even play with a scallop if you like.
That pretty variegated with the lavender-greens-tan will be a set...I'm working a solid tan then a solid lavender to pair with it, with the variegated edging to tie them together more.
I am so glad Lyn sparked my motivation to make more of these!

Can I say how glad I am to see that someone else is "addicted" to dishcoths as well? My family thinks I'm a little crazy. But it is so comforting to me....And you have something for your effort real soon! I'll be checking out that book. Thanks for sharing!
!!
I like that purple and green one. Looks really pretty and you know you missed my B-day.
