Maybe he is secretly working for PETA and is rescuing abandoned puppies on lonely, empty-for-miles, country roads in the hinterlands.
These little guys...and one girl...aren't in puppy jail, just our large kennel cage.
I am such a sucker when it comes to furry little faces.
They are so cute. They are so hungry for attention and loving.
And I'm hardly short on that here, with 8 pairs of young hands itchin' for furr babies.
Truth be told, we aren't short on dogs around this homestead either. We are secluded past rural here. Our road sees little action. What better place for drop-offs?
I won't give you the dog numbers here. Half the ones currently here are dirt dumb and serve no useful purpose aside from getting in your way when you go to the barn, or pull in or out of the driveway.
But, I'm a sucker for a pretty (and furry) face.
Dewey, however, is usually our unwaivering, detached-emotionally, General of Animal Control.
Guess he's swayed by a pretty face too. I always knew he could be a softie.
Maybe now I can get him to stop and move the turtles off to safety when we find them along the road :o)
Well, probably not. But at least now I know there's hope there.

Oh I am a sucker too. It is a shame that they were dropped off like that.
But I am happy he brought them home.
Blessings
awwwwww I want one, that big one in the back is that boy or girl????
That one looks like it might have some boarder collie, I'd love to have it but we'd have to get Parvo shots into him or her first.
They are so cute.
Aw how sweet. How in the world could anyone dump such sweet little things. That irritates me to no end. We don't have dogs anymore, but have our share of stray cats that is for sure. We now get every female that comes along fixed and that isn't cheap.
Oooo! Can I have one!!??!
The are so cute--it's great to be able to take care of animals that need a loving home. :)
Blessings, Tessa
