Hmmm...sumac, heh? No shortage of that around here. Time for some identification and some study I think.

Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls.

Looks like a useful sight. Thanks for the heads up.
I really think we'll see more people trying alternative remedies, the way things are going these days. Our coverage was just switched to BC-BS. Whole new set of rules. We drove to the big city for an appointment just to turn around and drive home because all the rules have changed. Now I'm on the phone, trying to get everybody on the same page so he DH can get treatments. Hope things are better with Dewey this week.
Meanwhile, DH got on the web and started looking for self-treatment methods. It's a new day!. . . . . .Keep us posted on your sumac adventure.
Hmm, not so sure on the sumac thing. I do know from growing up around it, that one thing you never ever do is burn it. If you get it in your lungs via the smoke, you can do serious damage.
Keep me updated.
