See these are memories...Oh, my what a site to see. See these are memories your kids will never forget. Our pigs are still little so we haven't had all of the drama, YET! They do try to dig out but we usually stay on top of it. When they were little they got out but it was easy to get them up. I am glad your seasoned wranglers came to the rescue.Trixihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17196019426959996853noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2947580832429520795.post-62525998608994792752008-11-04T10:19:00.000-06:002008-11-04T10:19:00.000-06:00LOL...pigs can either be so entertaining and "trai...LOL...pigs can either be so entertaining and "trainable" or SO annoying and stubborn!! It's never in between with our pigs!! One time we were trying to get our pigs bred (always before it had been a natural thing!!...but this time, it just wasn't happening!!) A friend of my husband's told him a funny story......There once was a farmer who was taking his sows down the road to another farm where there was a boar, to get them 'bred'. He went back and got them that night and brought them home. The farmer down the road didn't know if "anything happened" (or "took"...as my dh says)...so he told his neighbor to bring them back the next morning. All night long that farmer worried about how he was going to get the pigs back in the wheelbarrow and back down to the neighbor's farm. However, the next morning he headed out to get them loaded...and both sows were sitting in the wheelbarrow all ready to go. :o) I don't think that really happened...but we laughed about it!!!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
