Many people have lost track of how it began. It is a wonderful long weekend and I enjoy it as much as the next person. However, it does mean so much more, and you phrased it perfectly. I am a career military wife. My Husband has served for over 22 years. My oldest son has served for 5 years. They are both still serving. We have been so blessed not to have been touched personally by a tragic military death. However, we have seen it up close and it is a sorrowfull experience. It warms my heart to see this day treated with the respect that is deserves. To see the fallon honored for the selfless acts of protection to people they don't even know. We do have our freedom because of people we will never meat this side of Heaven. Thank YOu for reminding us just how important this day is.
In Christ
DawnDawnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14372011910315338200noreply@blogger.com
